How to extend battery Life on the Raptor X18 and X16?

Raptor X18 and Raptor X16 are equipped with NVIDIA Advanced Optimus Dynamic Display Switching Hybrid Mode. This means the laptop allows switching between iGPU and dGPU.
    - The iGPU is part of the processor and is used when applications that do not require heavy GPU processing. Programs such as wordprocessing or internet browsing. The iGPU uses less power so battery life is extended but provides lower refresh rates.
    - The dGPU is the NVIDIA GPU and is used when you are gaming or working in application that requires more powerful GPU rendering. The dGPU is much more powerful giving excellent video quality and refresh rates but also uses more power to do so.

NVIDIA Advanced Optimus Dynamic (Hybrid) Display Switching Mode works with both iGPU and dGPU provide the the best balance between battery life and video quality and switches back and forth between iGPU / dGPU as required by the system and the software being used to provide the best video quality and refresh rates when required and the longest Battery life when available.

1/ dGPU only resulting in shortest battery life
2/ iGPU only resulting in longest battery life
3/ hybrid automatic switching ‎between dGPU and iGPU depending on applications that are running

If you need to extend your battery life to the maximum length you can enter into the BIOS and turn off NVIDIA Advanced Optimus Dynamic Display Switching Mode. You can force the Laptop to use only the iGPU at all times. This will limit the video capability and refresh rates of the Laptop but will also extend the battery life to the maximum time.
