If your Chipset is Intel Z590 or newer and you are trying to manage your SSD`s, Hard drives or your RAID setup using Intel Rapid Storage Technology but are missing features, download Intel Optane Memory and Storage Management from the provided Software Thumb drive provided with your laptop and install it. Can I setup my Laptop to charge only to 80% while plugged in?
    Apr 11, 2024

One of the hardest things on a Laptop battery is for it never to be used. When your Laptop is going to be on your Desktop for a long period of time and will be plugged into the wall it is a great idea to only charge the battery to 80%. Doing this can reduce the amount of heat and stress on your battery, which can help it last longer. Here is how to force your Laptop's charging system to only charge to 80%...

When booting up your system, press the “F2” key multiple times to go into the system BIOS. Once in the BIOS, select “Setup Utility”.
Click on “Advanced” on the left side, then click on the “Advanced Chipset Control”. If you see “FlexiCharger” as “Disabled”, “Enable” it. That should open up a selection of “Start Charge” and “Stop Charge”. You can adjust these settings freely, then press “F10” to save and exit.
