How do I find the Hardware ID in my Alienware? I need it to load the correct drivers.
    Sep 01, 2016

The drivers are based on the specific Machine ID of the system.
To find your Machine ID please do the following:
    1/ Go to Device Manager
2/ Select the GPU (in Windows 7 it will be listed as “Standard VGA Adapter”, in Windows 8.x or Windows 10 it will be listed as “Microsoft Display Adapter”)
3/ Double click on it and select the 3rd tab labeled Details
4/ Select the second item from the drop down menu labeled Hardware IDS
5/ The end of the second line will list the machine ID, as the last set of numbers.
