 May 31, 2013 Eurocom nears the P50 000 barrier in 3DMark Vantage with Panther 5D SLI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M Contact: Braden Taylor 613-224-6122 btaylor@eurocom.com Eurocom is the world’s first to ship the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M in single and SLI configuration in the custom built, VGA upgradeable EUROCOM Panther high performance Laptop computer. The performance of the Panther will be bolstered by the introduction of the most powerful mobile graphics card from NVIDIA, the GTX 780M. With 1536 CUDA cores running at 823 MHz with 4 GB GDDR5 memory running at 1250 MHz and 1536 CUDA cores, the performance is legendary. The 780M is equipped with GPU Boost 2.0 for overclocking to allow for maximum graphics performance. Driving the EUROCOM Panther is a complete line of 6 core and 8 core Intel Xeon Processors based on the LGA 2011 processor socket. The EUROCOM Panther 4.0 supports LGA 2011 line of Intel Core i7 and Intel Core i7 Extreme processors. It also supports two VGA modules via standard MXM 3.0b interface. EUROCOM Panther uses quad channel memory, and enables it to support up to 32GB of DDR3 1600MHz RAM via four 8GB SODIMM 204 pin modules. In SLI the two 780M graphics cards offer EUROCOM Panther users up to 8 GB DDR5 video memory, 3072 CUDA cores, 256 TMUs and 64 ROPs. The Panther 4.0 has support for four storage drives with RAID 0,1,5,10 capability. With support for up to four 1 terabyte storage drives, the Panther is able to offer 4 terabytes of storage. RAID 0,1,5,10 capability gives users the ultimate in performance or redundancy. Eurocom has stress tested and benchmarked the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M in single graphics card and dual card (SLI() configuration in the EUROCOM Panther 5D to show its performance and capability to customers.
