To keep the total ownership costs as low as possible the Uno 2 is designed to be extremely energy efficient with a 74 W maximum draw, compared to typical desktops which run at 200 W or more. Proof of the efficiency, the EUROCOM Uno 2 has been given the Energy Star 5.0 certification. The EUROCOM Uno 2 was designed to be a long lasting and reliable system. The low power consumption design results in components that are never over heated or over stressed, resulting in a perfectly functioning system after years of use. To lower costs associated with transportation, relocation and housing the system throughout its life the EUROCOM Uno 2 utilizes an All-in-One design where the entire system is enclosed in one piece of equipment. The dimensions being a compact: 45(W)x 31(H)x 66.5(D) cm and weighing only 11 Kg with an optical disk drive. The EUROCOM Uno 2 is built using non toxic materials and is ROHS certified for this, making it easier to recycle and dispose of. The EUROCOM Uno 2 is also EuP compliant, which is a directive with the intention of setting requirement for eco-design for energy using products. Eurocom has completed an analysis of the total cost of ownership of the EUROCOM Uno 2.0 compared to a typical or average desktop system made up of a tower and external monitor. The results are in the table.
